Step one: Open the Applications folder (you can locate it from the Finder of macOS), then look for “Install macOS High Sierra” and drag it to the Trash
Step two: Once you are done, look for a small app and duplicate it (in this guide, we are going to select Launchpad)
Step three: Now simply rename the Launchpad copy file to “Install macOS High Sierra”. After that, head to the File menu and then hit “Get Info”
Step four: From the Install macOS High Sierra. app info, make sure you check the box next to Locked and close the window to complete the task.
